Blackbutt Decking
Blackbutt is one of the highest value timbers and is predominantly grown in the north coast of NSW, called the Northern Region. It is also common in coastal forests, from southern Queensland to southern NSW. This is a native hardwood. The timber is light brown or yellowish. The grain is usually straight with gum veins present. It may stain well, but is a poor surface for paint and the mature wood may cause problems when gluing. The wood is hard and strong and is the major timber used for all kinds of building construction work, including rafters and battens. It is also used for flooring, weatherboards, bridge planks, railway sleepers and pulp. When treated with a preservative it is used for posts and poles.

We delivery to Metropolitan Melbourne without further checking. For regional Victoria and interstate of Australia, it is also possible to arrange delivery based on a quotation of delivery charge.
How long it takes?
We aim to process all orders within 3 days (weekdays only). Once dispatched, your order shall arrive at your address on the same day.
Need it sooner? Order online and come to pick up. It is FREE of charge for handling. We usually get your order ready within 4 hours from confirmation of order. To do this, choose "Pick up at warehouse" during check out.
How is shipping charged?
We calculate shipping cost on the number of pallets your order will be packed on. The minimum charge is 1 pallet at $330 including GST. Every extra pallet will cost additional $100 + GST.
